On May 31, 2025, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University held a merit-making ceremony in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sunandha Kumariratana, on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of her passing. The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, the University President.  Dr. Weera Weerasophon, Dean of the College of Hospitality Industry Management, along with faculty members and staff, also took part in the ceremony, which was held at Phra Wihan Noi, Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan. The ceremony was organized to pay homage and express profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence, as she is the namesake of the university and a symbol of grace, virtue, and wisdom.
